Honorary Members
Pasos de Bienestar didn't come from an abstract idea. It came from conversations with specific people.
Who they are
People Marco Matouk recognizes for having contributed to the origin and/or the maturing of Pasos de Bienestar, mostly through earlier working relationships as:
- Direct reports of Marco.
- Matrix reports of Marco.
- Formal mentees of Marco.
The recognition comes from that shared history, not from the stage of the project they happened to be part of.
No conditions
Recognition doesn't depend on giving a testimonial, approving photographs, sharing contact details, promoting Pasos de Bienestar or appearing publicly on this site. Someone can be an Honorary Member with no public profile at all.
Public profile
When individual authorization exists, a profile may show the following elements. It is not assumed that all of them should be shown.
- Name.
- Authorized photograph.
- Testimonial.
- Identification as an Honorary Member.
- One optional primary link: LinkedIn, website, Substack, Discord, social network or other.
- Optional contact information the person specifically wants to make public.
- City and country only if they authorize them as public.
Stories are published with permission
This is where Honorary Members who choose to share their story will appear, with their name, their relationship to the origin of the project and their own approved words. Until then, we'd rather leave this space quiet than fill it with stories that belong to no one.
Separate consents
No blanket authorization is used. Each element is recorded separately.
Testimonial
- Approved text.
- Authorization to publish.
- Date.
Photographs
- The available photographs are shown to the person.
- The person selects which ones they authorize.
- No photograph is considered approved by default.
- Authorization is recorded photograph by photograph.
Profile and links
- Content provided voluntarily.
- Authorization to make it public.
Contact
- Only specifically authorized details are published.
City and country
- Private operational authorization: to understand context and safety.
- Publication authorization: separate and explicit.
Testimonials
- Every testimonial reflects that person's real experience.
- Where applicable, the testimonial clearly shows that the person is an Honorary Member of Pasos de Bienestar, making their historical relationship with Marco and the model transparent.
- A testimonial is never edited in a way that changes its meaning.
